What Is the Global Young People's Convocation?
Global Young People’s Convocation (GYPC) is a quadrennial gathering of United Methodist Young People from around the globe. Every four years, young people come together to engage in fellowship, community, and worship while learning valuable lessons about leadership and the church. The legislative process at GYPC is a learning opportunity for young leaders of the church. Through the Legislative Forum at GYPC, young people engage in conversation about various topics with their small groups. After the small group conversations, they can then propose and discuss legislation that may affect the future of the church. GYPC is committed to being the place where young people can learn from, and engage with, other young people from around the world.
